Wilhem Laufs

Allegory52a was founded in 2022 by Wilhelm because of his love for music, the arts, creative design and a dream of building his own business.

Wilhelm spent 11 years teaching English, Humanities and Global Perspectives abroad. He worked in South Korea, Saudi Arabia, Kazakhstan, China, Singapore and Dubai. He also has good skills and experience as plumber, roofer and woodworker. Additionally he is an aspiring bicycle mechanic.

The name “Allegory52a” is derived from Plato’s Allegory of the Cave and the physical business location in George “Aspeling Street 52a”.

As web designer, sound engineer and video editor Wilhelm aims to make a positive contribution to the world. He wants to help and encourage people to express their ideas and build positive things. He believes human dignity is the most important value of them all.

He was very good at managing expectations in terms of delivery date and kept me informed throughout the design and production process. Wilhelm listened and communicated well and made sure that I understood what was possible. He was courteous, quick to respond and professional at all times.
